Context: Professional Association Services, a management company serving ~150 community associations, needed a faster way to find answers for customers. Support staff often field questions about community rules and history. Previously, answering a resident’s question required manually opening PDFs and policy documents, an “inefficient and unscalable” process ([63]).
Solution: PAS was an existing Egnyte customer, and eagerly adopted Egnyte Copilot (AI Assistant) for a “secure introduction” to generative AI. ([14]). PAS’s CTO created distinct Egnyte Knowledge Bases for each community’s documents ([64]). This turned their static archives into interactive content hubs: staff could now type a question like “What is the policy on satellite dishes?” into Egnyte Copilot, and instantly receive an answer extracted from the relevant community’s folder ([64]).

This case demonstrates Egnyte’s value for information-centric industries. Instead of building their own RAG system, PAS used Egnyte’s turnkey Knowledge Bases and Copilot to deploy enterprise AI in days. Egnyte exemplifies a critical trend: making generative AI enterprise-ready by coupling it tightly with governance. Analysts emphasize that secure, auditable AI on corporate data requires code and architecture like MCP. Egnyte’s implementation of MCP and OAuth, with fine-grained permissions, provides a blueprint for how companies can safely adopt LLMs. By preserving permission enforcement, Egnyte ensures zero trust around AI – an idea echoed in Gartner predictions that many organizations will adopt zero-trust data governance for AI by the mid-2020s.
