Amie Harpe is the Founder and Principal Consultant at Sakara Digital, and an accomplished IT leader with over 20 years of experience delivering global quality and compliance solutions across pharma, biotech, medical device, and consumer health industries. She specializes in GxP, DMS, and Veeva QMS, with a proven track record of leading complex, high-impact initiatives—often with budgets exceeding $40M—and managing cross-functional, multicultural teams.
Prior to founding Sakara Digital, Amie spent 23 years at Pfizer, where she served as Product Owner and Program Manager supporting global quality solutions. She managed relationships with Quality Operations business process owners and led projects up to $40M with cross-functional global teams of 50+ members. Her accomplishments at Pfizer include deploying document management systems to 65 manufacturing sites and corporate functions serving 22,000 users, developing a standardized configuration model that reduced deployment time by six months per site (saving $18M over three years), and leading the implementation of Veeva QMS for global change management.
Through Sakara Digital, Amie now focuses on helping organizations navigate digital transformation with clarity, flexibility, and purpose. She delivers senior-level consulting through part-time, high-impact engagements, collaborating with consulting firms and software providers to drive strategic outcomes—without the full-time overhead. Her areas of focus include program management, operational process optimization, and strategic transformation.
Amie holds an MBA in Production and Operations Management from California State University, Stanislaus and a BS in Computer Science from Humphreys University. She is a Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager and completed Stanford's AI-Driven Leadership program. Outside of work, she is a dedicated volunteer with Paws With A Cause, raising and training puppies destined to become service dogs.
