Rapid Dosimetry's 3D-RD-S is a cloud-based Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) and the company's first SaaS product, designed to simplify and standardize radiopharmaceutical dosimetry (RPT). It is FDA 510(k) cleared and bears the CE mark, allowing global accessibility for medical professionals, researchers, and institutions.
The software implements the MIRD Committee's S-value based dosimetry using the latest ICRP phantoms and data, supporting 1,252 radionuclides. A key feature is its specialized support for alpha-particle emitter dosimetry, including flexible accounting for daughter radionuclides and their distribution and incorporation of relative biological effectiveness (RBE) weights.
The web application features a modern, multi-user, multi-project interface with roles and permissions, making it ideal for multi-center clinical trials or expert review of calculations. Users can input data via Time Activity Curves (TAC), Time Integrated Activity (TIA), or Time Integrated Activity Coefficients (TIAC). It includes flexible curve fitting and integration models, calculates the uncertainty of dose values, and provides comprehensive, regulatory-ready reporting output. Additionally, it offers an investigational mode for calculating biologically effective dose (BED) and equivalent dose to x-Gray fraction (EQDx).
Security features include 2-factor authentication and encryption of data in transit and at rest.
