Aquitaine Science Transfert (AST) is a French Technology Transfer Office (TTO) acting as an accelerator for innovation. Its mission is to generate economic and social value from public research by facilitating the maturation of research results, managing intellectual property, and transferring technologies to companies through licensing or the creation of startups. AST operates as the first link in the innovation chain, investing in high-potential research projects to demonstrate proof of concept. It covers various sectors including health, biotechnology, medical devices, engineering sciences, and green technologies, supporting the transition from academic laboratories to the market.
