KSPICO

Kuwait Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries Company (KSPICO) is the sole pharmaceutical manufacturer in the State of Kuwait. Established in 1980 and re-established in 1994, the company operates a large-scale manufacturing facility in the Subhan Industrial Area, producing over 120 different pharmaceutical products. KSPICO is a fully integrated company with capabilities in development, manufacturing, and commercialization, serving a regional population of over 100 million patients across the GCC and Middle East. In 2019, a 67% majority stake in KSPICO was acquired by Mezzan Holding, one of the largest food and healthcare conglomerates in the Gulf. This acquisition has enabled KSPICO to expand its manufacturing lines, invest in R&D, and enter into contract manufacturing partnerships with international pharmaceutical giants. The company's portfolio includes oral solids, liquids, large volume parenterals (LVP), and semi-solid topicals, with well-known regional brands such as Panadrex and Fludrex.
