NMDP, formerly known as Be The Match, is a global leader in cell therapy and the world's largest and most diverse marrow registry. The organization connects patients with life-saving bone marrow or umbilical cord blood transplants and provides support throughout the transplant process. Beyond registry management, NMDP operates 'NMDP BioTherapies' (formerly Be The Match BioTherapies), which provides end-to-end solutions for cell and gene therapy developers. This includes sourcing starting materials, logistics, and regulatory support. They also co-manage the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR) to advance the science of cell therapy.
