Inven2

Inven2 is a leading Norwegian technology transfer office (TTO) established to commercialize research results from the University of Oslo and Oslo University Hospital, as well as several regional health trusts. It operates as a limited liability company that manages the entire value chain of innovation, including patenting, business development, and the administration of industry-funded clinical trials. Beyond commercialization, Inven2 plays a critical role in facilitating clinical research by managing cooperation agreements between industry partners and hospital departments. It employs a 'three-way model' for income distribution, where profits from successful commercialization are shared between the inventor, the employer institution, and Inven2 to reinvest in new research and innovation projects.
