International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI)

The International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) is a leading global non-profit research organization focused on improving food security and reducing poverty through livestock science. As a member of the CGIAR global research partnership, ILRI works at the intersection of animal health, human health, and environmental sustainability, particularly in low- and middle-income countries across Africa and Asia. The institute is co-hosted by the governments of Kenya and Ethiopia and maintains a network of regional offices.
