CRUK Scotland Institute

The CRUK Scotland Institute (formerly the CRUK Beatson Institute) is a premier cancer research center based in Glasgow, Scotland. It is core-funded by Cancer Research UK and focuses on investigating the molecular mechanisms of cancer development, with a strong emphasis on translating these discoveries into novel therapeutic opportunities for patients. The institute hosts approximately 250-300 researchers across 30 research groups. It maintains a robust translational pipeline, leveraging state-of-the-art in vitro and in vivo experimental models, advanced imaging, and mass spectrometry to support both fundamental discovery and industry-partnered preclinical projects.
